The one year lockdown period has proven to be fruitful in a way as many people have learnt some new chores while sitting at home with cooking being a prominent example, which was considered the bastion of women until now but now many men too have proven their worth as far as their culinary skills are concerned.
Today we are going to talk about an important recipe that most people are quite fond of due to which they always consume it in large numbers and North Americans consider it a specialty that they always have for breakfast while some won’t say no even during lunch and dinner.
Unraveling the Recipe
Some people would not agree but it is true that non vegetarian food is just as important as vegetarian even though there are people that are pretty neutral just because their love for food does not allow them to classify a delicacy into a particular category.
Potato bacon salad is quite a revelation in this case because sausage is more popular in the west while bacon is confined to breakfast but slowly times started to change and it can be seen that people are more and more into the process to try out this delicious morsel for lunch and dinner as well.
The potato season is just around the corner because summer will be here in another month or so and people are dying to try out their favorite potato delicacies with bacon sandwich being a top candidate in the list.
Jamie Oliver is a reputed British chef of international renown whose culinary skills has inspired many boys and girls to take up cooking as a profession as it was he who provided respect and dignity to it that led to many people look at it with more respect as a career prospect.
You need to have around 600 too 800g of potatoes that are washed with 1 lemon although having a couple would be good along with 100g of fresh bacon or even a smoked breast would do.
First you need to wash and boil the potatoes so that there is no trace or speck of dirt and filth around it as it would spoil the taste and cause an upset stomach but take care to use a sponge that cleans dishwashers.
After putting them into the pan, pour 2 cups of cold water and then a pinch of salt so that it starts simmering immediately after the flame is lit and heat it for 10 minutes or so.
Start cutting the bacon, onions and tomatoes along with the lemon while simultaneously heating a spoon of oil in the pan and then add the entire mixture to it so that the bacon turns golden in color in 5 minutes.
Then add the salad with 100g of sour cream with some chopped coriander added for taste and then some salt and lemon juice so that the Jamie Oliver potato salad is ready within an hour.
